Our duty to our community regarding the COVID-19 pandemic

We must come together in hard times to support and help each other. As a gesture of solidarity and giving back to our community in these hard times, we decided to give FREE face masks, one per person, until the quantities we have last.

The use of masks is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for healthcare workers and people who are sick. Unfortunately, many people do not feel the need to wear a mask, believing that they are not at risk for a viral infection.

Several viruses can cause respiratory illness, including the flu, coronavirus, and rhinovirus. Surgical masks are effective in preventing the spread of these viruses. The masks work by trapping droplets that are released when the user talks, coughs, or sneezes. These droplets can contain the virus, and if they are released into the environment, they can infect other people.

Masks are also effective in preventing the spread of bacteria. Bacteria can cause a number of respiratory illnesses, including pneumonia and meningitis. Masks can also protect the user from inhaling large particles, which can cause respiratory problems.

There are a number of factors that should be considered when deciding whether to wear a surgical mask. The type of mask, the fit of the mask, and the environment in which the mask will be used are all important factors. In general, masks should be worn in high-risk environments, such as hospitals and clinics. Masks should also be worn when the user is sick or perceived to be sick or at risk of infection.
