Why bring the flu shot to work this year
Last winter was rough. Alberta government data showed that 2025-26 was the deadliest flu season in recent history. This season started early: Alberta’s 2026-27 flu season began on August 30, and the province had already reported its first flu-related death by early October.
Most people mean to get their flu shot. What stops them is the logistics: leaving work, finding a time, waiting in line. A workplace flu clinic removes all of it. Your people roll up a sleeve between meetings, between classes or between shifts, and they’re back at work in about 20 minutes.
What it costs your organization: $0
The flu vaccine is funded by the Province of Alberta, so there is no cost to your organization for the clinic. Each person brings their Alberta Health Care card. We bring the vaccine, the supplies and the pharmacist, and we handle the paperwork.

- Call or message us with your address, an estimated headcount and two or three dates that work.
- We confirm the details and send you a short sign-up note to share with your team.
- Clinic day: our pharmacist sets up in your space and vaccinates your team. Each person waits about 15 minutes after the shot, as with any vaccination.
- Done. No bill to your organization and no follow-up admin for you.

- Share the sign-up note early and ask people to reply with a preferred time slot.
- Remind everyone to bring their Alberta Health Care card and wear a short-sleeved or loose top.
- Pick a quiet spot near the main work area so people don’t lose time walking.
- Leave a few chairs outside the room for the 15-minute wait after the shot.
